Well, who knew a few days abroad in the sun could be so good for you. It's a shame I didn't bring the weather back with me, but who can complain when they are lucky enough to ride such talented horses.
Stan kicked the day off at Treborough with a 26.8 dressage. He warmed up beautifully and could have easily have gained an either lower mark, but in the test he thought the Exmoor Iron Man cycling was far more interesting than the test itself, so he lost a few marks by showing his greenness. However, a double clear jumping meant that we finished 3rd, still with lots to work on! Colin was ace. A 26.3 dressage and a double clear later and we only went and won the section. What more could you want!!!
Another 3rd to end the day, with Charlie gaining 29 dressage, followed by a double clear. He was HC, but none the less, still up there with the top dogs. Yet again, another lovely event which was fabulously organised. Thank you to Treborough Horse Trials and all the volunteers for allowing us to have such a stress free and enjoyable day. I think people sometimes forget that the majority of those working at these events do it for nothing and without them there would be no eventing!! Thank you as well to my sponsors, Property Concept, Payrolls UK Ltd and Laura Cohen Designs.
