My earliest memories of riding are on the hunting field with a group of children, who actually, I am still eventing today! I'd go from the hunting field in the winter, to then Prince Phillip games in the Summer, when I borrowed a great collection of ponies from Burcott Riding Centre. Here, I learned to work hard in return for rides - the harder I worked the more rides I got, so I soon learnt how the world goes round! Time passed us by and before we knew it i had started to experience the exciting sport of eventing. I began with a 15 hand hunting pony called HotShot, upon who I managed to do all of the local pony club eventing and in our first year, made it on to the national novice pony club area team.
